Position Overview: As a QA Automation Engineer at AKSA Infotech, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products/services through the design, implementation, and execution of automated tests. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements, develop robust automation frameworks, and execute test cases to validate software functionality. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define test requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites and frameworks for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Implement and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
• Identify and prioritize test cases for automation, considering risk, impact, and coverage.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Participate in agile/scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
• Continuously evaluate and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of automated testing processes and tools.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in test automation and quality assurance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in quality assurance/testing, with a focus on automation.
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining automated test frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience with agile/scrum software development methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitLab CI.
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms and services (e.g., AWS Device Farm, Sauce Labs).
• Knowledge of performance testing tools and techniques (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
